I have seen no API for servers to indicate they have errors in their configuration, short
of throwing CoreExceptions throughout the startup or publish. Throwing core exceptions is
the approved way of indicating you have problems.
when associated project gets deleted the openshift server errors with
NPE on publish

its not an uncommon scenario to delete projects so the server adapter should be able to
handle this.
