Nick Boldt commented on JBIDE-10577:
------------------------------------
Suspect those stats are because:
Ubuntu 11.10: released Oct 13
Fedora 16: released Nov 8
Mint 12: released Nov 28
... thus causing proportionate upticks in their download stats as people flock to download
the latest. Note too that I'm fairly certain torrent downloads won't be tracked
this way and so Fedora might actually be more popular. (Who knows?)
As to relative populaties, I suspect that's up to the user's
needs/wants/preferences/rants. For example...

usage tracking does not seem to detect Mint
