Resolution: Explained
The 11.x oxygen Integration Stack is incompatible with the 12.x Photon Devstudio.
Also - the Integration Stack stand-alone installer is 'stand-alone'. It is *not*
necessary to install devstudio first. Please install from here:
http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/devstudio_is/photon/12.0.0.GA.html

fir the latest Teiid Designer. You can install newer TDs from their update site after you
establish this base. This has Teiid Des 11.2.0

JBoss Developer Studio Integration Stack installer is not working.
I am on MacOs HighSierra.
I installed Red Hat Developer Studio using devstudio-12.0.0.GA-installer-standalone.jar
And then followed the steps given in this link
