As stated in this issue, compiling GWT requires a lot of resources (ram and disk) and it
is very likely that your OpenShift instance went out of resources. There are some options
to the compiler that reduce consumption and may help a bit. If not, you'd have to
compile and build the war locally. You can then put the war that you built locally to the
*deployments* folder of your project and publish it using the OpenShift server adapter (or
git push to OpenShift).
