Nick Boldt updated JBIDE-8907:
------------------------------
Comment: was deleted
(was: Installation from
http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/nightly/trunk/
fails because it is updated with rsync, which means if you are updating from it and
aggregation build published new bits into it, you get errors like this.
I know that because my error happened at 1:35AM local time and aggregation build
https://hudson.qa.jboss.com/hudson/view/DevStudio_Trunk/job/jbosstools-3....
finished at 04:35AM on east coast. Considering we have 3 hours difference there are no
doubts why that happened for me.
Nightly build should be composite update site and each new nightly version should be
uploaded first and then added to composite update site. Then not needed nightly updates
can be removed first from composite*.xml artifacts and only after a while (let say one
day?) from disk. Delay is required to let people who is already downloading to finish it.
)
How do I install JBoss Tools 3.3.0.M1 against M6 bits if Indigo site
has M7 bits?
