Here are steps that work for me: 1. Fetched last version of JBDS 4.0.0.M2 (H468) without EAP ( I guess I have to check that on EAP included version as well) 2. Copied it in c:\Temp 3. Created shortcut for installer jar file 4. Opened shortcut properties and added java -jar in "Target" field before installer jar name 5. Saved shortcut properties (note that icon should be changed to Java) 6. Selected "Run As..." from context menu for shortcut 7.
