Martin Malina reassigned JBIDE-12961:
-------------------------------------
Assignee: Rob Stryker (was: Martin Malina)
Rob, I am still unable to make it work.
I have a RHEL 6 box and I even stopped iptables there so there is no firewall running.
Also, I made sure that the EAP config is correct - actually there is nothing to do except
for uncommenting admin=admin in
<JBOSS_HOME>/server/<CONFIG_NAME>/conf/props/jmx-console-users.properties.
It is described here
https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/RHQ/JBoss+AS+5.x-6.x+Product+Config...
When I set up the remote server on my local machine (using my own hostname - thus the
connection went my ethernet port) it worked. But on the remote system it just doesn't
work for me.
Rob, have you tried this on an actual remote system or just your own host (i.e. the same
that is running JBDS)? I can set up an account for you to try.
