Brian Fitzpatrick updated JBIDE-5421:
-------------------------------------
Attachment: clipboard.txt
Here's an updated patch (just externalized strings and tweaked a couple of them).
Couple of questions...
1) If the warning or error appears in the editor, should it also appear in the Problems
View?
2) If there's an error, should the user be allowed to save the file?
Input types with no configuration beyond specifying sample data
should show some text

Key: JBIDE-5421
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-5421
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: smooks
Affects Versions: 3.1.0.CR2
Reporter: Brian Fitzpatrick
Assignee: Xue Peng
Fix For: 3.1.0.CR2
Attachments: clipboard.txt, JBIDE-5421.patch
Original Estimate: 0 minutes
Remaining Estimate: 0 minutes
For Input Types without any configuration UI beyond adding a sample input data file, we
should show a label or something that says "Specify sample data in the Input Data
section." It just looks odd to not have anything showing whether you expand the
section or not and might cause some people to think something is wrong or missing.
This includes the following input types:
- XML
- Java
- XSD/WSDL
