Mustafa Musaji commented on JBDS-1710:

I had to remove the WSDL as it was a customers and they requested it be removed. Feng
(Grid) managed to find the issue and from what I understand it was caused when the WSDL
had a string containing "error" within it. The search string in JBDS was looking
for this when looking for errors and saw this as an error. Even though everything was
okay.
Please let me know if you need any further information, I think Feng may be able to help
you out as he did most of the initial investigation. I may be able to dig out the original
WSDL I used to replicate this.
Thanks
Mustafa
Exception creating web.xml when using the wizard to generate a web
service.

Key: JBDS-1710
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-1710
Project: Developer Studio (JBoss Developer Studio)
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Components: runtime
Affects Versions: 3.0.1.GA, 4.0.0.GA
Reporter: Mustafa Musaji
Assignee: Feng Qian
Fix For: 4.1.1.M1
Attachments: error.jpg, JBDS-1710.patch
When using the attached WSDL to create a new web service an exception is caught with the
CoreException: parsing WSDL. However, the client stubs are generated just fine and the
only issue seems to be JBoss Tools problems. There are a number of warnings but there is
another WSDL attached which also generates warnings but does not fail when creating the
web.xml.
