Gerard Braad commented on JBIDE-24676:
--------------------------------------
I think the problem here is that the Eclipse console does not support ANSI escape
sequences, which means it does not only effect Minishift/CDK, but any application or
script that uses colorize or escape sequences for layout control.
Do we really want to modify Minishift specifically for this case?
I'd rather want to take more time and look for an alternative library or fix this with
the author of the progress indicator than to rush adding a toggle or flag to suppress the
progress indicators. Adding functionality is simple, but it is harder (or impossible) to
remove once added.
CDK3 server adapter's console view is using wrong coding on all
platforms
