Libor Zoubek commented on JBIDE-6079:
-------------------------------------
NP, if you are busy or whatever. There is no need to create screenshots. This is just, you
need to have lonely project of type 'Java Project' in workspace, select the
project in Project Explorer and then to try invoke 'Create a Sample Web Service'
wizard. ( Ctrl+N, list in tree and press 'Next >'). After pressing 'Next
>' nothing happens (expected the wizard page with the drop-down and service name)
Do Java Projects show up in the drop-down list where you choose a
project for the web service?
No, it is not possible to reach wizard page that
displays the dropdown. But when no project is selected in Project Explorer page with
drop-down is reachable and does not show the project, I think that's ok.
Creating Sample Web service fails on Java Project
-------------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-6079
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-6079
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Webservices
Affects Versions: 3.1.0.GA
Reporter: Libor Zoubek
Attachments: .log
When I create Jboss Tools->Sample Web Service and the only project in my workspace is
classic java project, errors in log appear
1. Use clean workspace
2. Create 'Java Project'
3. Try to create 'Jboss Tools->Sample Web Service' by selecting it in tree.
4. Errors in log appear and you can't even click "Next >'
Truth is, that maybe it does not make real sense, to create web service in Java Project,
but this should not happen. I'll attach log
