Marshall Culpepper commented on JBIDE-392:
------------------------------------------
Max, currently the first page wizard let's each page decide if it needs to be run or
not, but it currently doesn't ask each page beforehand to see if the whole wizard
itself even needs to be run. The gist of the first run wizard was a dual purpose IMO, to
welcome the user to a new version of JBossIDE and to perform any migration tasks if
necessary. I definately agree that if there is no conversion to be done we should just
probably say something like "It looks like you don't need to migrate from an old
version, go ahead and press Finish and you can get started using JBossIDE"
First Run wizard is behaving "weird" ;)

Key: JBIDE-392
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-392
Project: JBoss IDE
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 2.0.0.Beta2
Reporter: Max Andersen
Issues i see with firstrun wizard:
I have a completely clean workspace (no projects) and it is still showing up? is that
intended, if it has to show up why don't it just tell me i don't have anything to
convert and then be done with it ?
Second time i start it comes and ask me again, but when i press next it just says
"the conversions you selected will be completed as soon as you press
finish"..but i never got the option to select anything.
