Michelle Murray commented on JBDS-2737:
---------------------------------------
As Max says, this should be an archive only. It is simply a store so that old docs remain
available on the internet. Otherwise, as small updates are published to current docs they
will have to copied to this new location too.
I prefer [0] as an archive. Can we just leave it at that? With some intro text:
"This is an archive of the documentation accompanying JBoss Developer Studio
releases. For the most up-to-date documentation see
https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/Red_Hat_JBoss_Developer_Stud...
If others want to keep the html too, we don't need both [1] and [2]. [1] has all the
docs and [2] only has some. [1] is the archive page we need with the 3.0 and 4.0 docs that
are going to disappear from access.redhat.
Not sure about the HTML versions as they've lost all the Red Hat branding. Also while
first page of each doc is there, subsequent pages seem to be missing. For example, [3].

https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-2737
Project: Developer Studio (JBoss Developer Studio)
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Components: documentation
Affects Versions: 3.0.1.GA, 4.0.1.GA, 4.1.3.GA, 5.0.2.GA, 6.0.0.GA, 7.0.0.GA
Reporter: Nick Boldt
Assignee: Nick Boldt

This is a workaround for
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=983934 because
it's easier to download the internet (apparently) than to fix portal code. *sigh*
Docs will be posted to
devstudio.jboss.com/site/documentation/ as they include absolute
path references.
