Unfortunately the ability to tell the entry point in these wizards is pretty difficult. We ran into user complaints years ago. If a user enters through the New Server Wizard, the first page allows them to set the server name. If no runtime has been created yet, the next page shows the runtime information, and allows you to change the runtime name. We used to change the server name when the runtime name is changed, but some users didn't like that they can set the server on the first page to be named "My Server" and then, on the next page, set the runtime name to "Your Runtime". They didn't like that they had previously declared the server to be named My Server, and suddenly it became named Your Runtime Server. To fix this, the user would need to go forward, set the runtime name, then go backwards, and re-set the server name. Users definitely did not like this. We also tried at one point duplicating the server name widget on the runtime page, but, that didn't always make sense, since sometimes you may be making a runtime without creating a server at all. The widget became a strange thing to have and confused users. The only situation this seems to work best for is when you use the new runtime wizard AND check the 'create server' button, but it is impossible to tell this entry point from others. A workaround for you is to create your runtime first with no server, then go create a server and select your runtime from the combo box. The server name will be properly set in that situation.
