Isaac Rooskov updated JBIDE-7851:
---------------------------------
Release Notes Docs Status: Documented as Feature Request
Writer: irooskov
Release Notes Text: The restart ability in the main toolbar has been renamed to
restart-module and added to the context menu of a deployed archive. This feature touches
the web.xml file of a selected module, forcing the module to refresh on the server.
Better usability of feature 'touch web.xml'
-------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-7851
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-7851
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: JBossAS/Servers
Affects Versions: 3.2.0.Beta2
Reporter: Libor Zoubek
Assignee: Rob Stryker
Labels: new_and_noteworthy
Fix For: 3.3.0.M3
People keep asking me, if JBDS or tools can simply touch web.xml. When they develop, they
try to 'Full publish' on the deployed project, which does not actually touch
web.xml (why?) They workaround it touching it by hand or simply editing and saving trivial
change.
Almost nobody including me is able to use our button in main toolbar. That is probably
because almost nobody uses the main toolbar and does not expect such feature there.
Can this action be added to context menu of deployed archive and possibly have some
shortcut for it?
