1, 2 - I reproduced the issue.
3 - It's not a bug. The "Create jBPM..." item was added as subitem of
"Create Seam Project"
4- "Welcome to JBoss Developer Studio" appears in my environment (not
"Welcome to JBDS..."). Don't understand what is wrong with it.
The "green badge" effects are the same as in ## 1 - 2.
5. "Perspectives" page is able to be openned from any page in my environment.

There is a difference on how the links and their icons are shown depending on whether the
text is present inside the link element or not.
For example on the Getting Started page there is only one link which works as expected
together with its icon (Viewlets and Tutorials) because there is no text element inside
that link element.
I cannot quickly find a way to make the links to work as expected.
And also, because of it's minor bug, let's delay it for 3.1

The bug with the link-icons (which aren't changing to HOVERRED/NORMAL when a user
hovers his/her mouse over the link with a text) is a normal behaviour for Eclipse (at
least up to 3.5.2).
The problem is that Eclipse's Intro creates link controls in different ways depending
on the text presence/absence.
For example, if we create a link with an icon and without a text then it (iEclipse's
org.eclipse.ui.internal.intro.impl.swt.PageWidgetFactory.createImageHyperlink() method)
creates a single ImageLink control which is responcible to chahge the icons when mouse is
hoverred over it. In this case all works perfect.
But If we create a link with an icon and text, then it creates two controls: ImageLink
with icon (which is responcible to show and change its icon) and Hyperlink with text
(which is responcible to show and change its text). And these link controls aren't
cross-linked in their mouse-listerers to be hoverred together.
Probably, it's a bug of Eclipse's SWT Intro.

Due to fix problem #1 (the different link icons showing for different link kinds) I could
suggest to disable the icons changing when mouse is hovered over the text part of a link.
When mouse is hovered over the icon part of a link the icons still to be changed.

Due to fix problem #2 (icon stays "hovered" for a link selected by right-mouse
click) there is no solution other than to make icons static at all (Not to change icons
when hovering the mouse). (#1 problem will also disappear in this case)
