Lincoln Baxter III commented on JBIDE-16295:
--------------------------------------------
Eclipse crashed when I tried to disable this ;) But yes, I'll do that. Thanks.
JSF XHTML Validator is too restrictive when analyzing method return
types

Key: JBIDE-16295

https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-16295
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: upstream
Reporter: Lincoln Baxter III
Assignee: Alexey Kazakov

The validator reports that only "String" may be returned from JSF action
methods, but this is actually not the case. Any object may be returned, and .toString()
will be called on it before JSF processes the navigation case.
