Michelle Murray commented on JBDS-2849:
---------------------------------------
Docs Q: Is this solely for use by the Training Team/demonstrators, or customers as well?
Can we get more information from the Training Team about their needs? Is there a Training
Team contact person?
Is this just about a list of things that need to be downloaded and pre-cached in order to
work offline? Or about alternative methods to tasks that typically require users to be
online? Or both?
The only actions that come to mind as having possible offline alternative methods are:
* Installing JBDS BYOE offline (see Installation Guide, 3.3 Install JBoss Developer Studio
BYOE, Procedure 3.3 Install from Update .zip File [1])
* Installing 3rd party Central plug-ins offline (see User Guide, 2.3.5 Install Software
when Working Offline [2])
* Using Central wizards offline by creating a cache while online (see User Guide, 2.3.4
Use Project Example when Working Offline [3])
[~burrsutter], what else is there?
