However, if you accept this default, you cannot start up your JBoss server via the JBossIDE. You get two errors "Cannot find the main class" and "Cannot connect to VM". This problem goes away if you remove the spaces from the home directory reference, using the DOS8.3 name. That is, change "Documents and Settings" to "docume~1"
