Andre Dietisheim commented on JBIDE-20096:
------------------------------------------
[~maxandersen] In all the docs/tutorials I read so far there's no support for updating
the DNS dynamically as it's currently done in OpenShift v2 online (while "on
premise" v2 lifecd is missing that too):
https://github.com/openshift/origin/blob/master/docs/router_sharding.md
{quote}
OpenShift will not provide custom DNS to clients. System provided DNS will be achieved by
using a DNS plugin or manual setup
{quote}
and here also, the blogger is requesting via IP, not via hostname
http://www.javacodegeeks.com/2015/02/openshift-v3-getting-started-java-ee...
So in result it's up to the template producer/template applier/system admin that's
in charge here for now.
Application wizard: creating eap-simple from templates and show in
browser tries to open 'eap.local'

Key: JBIDE-20096
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-20096
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: openshift
Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 4.3.0.Beta2
not sure what is to "blame" here but creating app from
https://github.com/jboss-openshift/application-templates/blob/master/eap/...
(v3beta1) results in app getting created but show in browser wants me to go to
"eap.local" which pretty sure that is not something that exist from the outside.
