Snjezana Peco commented on JBIDE-621:
-------------------------------------
When typing Chinese, Japanese or some other languages that require an Input Method Editor,
Mozilla doesn't fire key events.
The compositionstart, text and compositionend events are fired. We can catch these events
in the design mode off, but there isn't any interface in Java for text handling
(nsTextEvent). The display.addFilter method also doesn't catch key events when using
IME.
In my opinion, the only way to solve this issue is to set the design mode on and use DOM
mutation events.
