I think we can close this one...
Eclipse crashes on startup when VPE editor is open and configured to
HTML5
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-19398
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-19398
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: visual-page-editor-core
Affects Versions: 4.2.3.Beta1
Environment: Fedora 21, OpenJDK 1.8, Oracle JDK 1.7
Reporter: Radim Hopp
Assignee: Konstantin Marmalyukov
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 4.2.3.CR1
Startup of Eclipse with VPE configured for HTML5 crashes on SIGSEGV when there is VPE
editor opened. See steps to reproduce.
I've also tried to switch this option in preferences, restart and then open some HTML
page... This went with no problem. It crashes just on startup, when some HTML page is
opened.
I've tried it with different JDK (OpenJDK 1.8, Oracle JDK 1.7) and it happened with
both of them.
