Rob Cernich commented on JBIDE-15340:
-------------------------------------
Hey Nick,
I get that having these sites allows you to install plugins from Locus, I'm saying
that this should not be a requirement. In my opinion, Locus should be providing OSGi-fied
jars that can be installed in Eclipse, along with a p2 site from which they can be pulled.
All of the missing requirements will either come from Orbit or a TP site (e.g. JBTIS TP
site for all the SpringIDE stuff). Having said that, we need to ensure that the TP sites
do not duplicate plugins which can be resolved from higher order sites (e.g. Graphiti and
EMF Compare: are those available from the Kepler mirror, including the JBDS Kepler
mirror).
