(was: JBDS 4.1.0.GA, EPP 5.2.0.ER01, Fedora 14 (32-bit), JDK 1.6.0_27)
Deadlock when generating JSF portlet project
--------------------------------------------
Key: JBDS-1861
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-1861
Project: Developer Studio (JBoss Developer Studio)
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Affects Versions: 4.0.0.GA, 4.1.0.GA
Environment: JBDS 4.1.0.GA, EPP 5.2.0.ER01, Fedora 14 (32-bit), Sun JDK 1.6.0_27
Reporter: Miroslav Cupak
Assignee: Snjezana Peco
Fix For: 4.1.1.M1
Attachments: jbdevstudio.log, jbds.png
JBDS freezes when I try to create a _Dynamic Web Project_ with _JBoss Core Portlet 2.0_,
_JBoss JSF Portlet 1.0_, _JavaServer Faces 1.2_, _Java 1.6_ and _Dynamic Web Module 2.5_
facets to deploy on EPP. By that I mean the process stops responding, thus leaving you no
other option than to kill it. Java stack trace shows a deadlock.
This happens if I try to create a project with the _New Dynamic Web Project_ wizard,
target runtime set to _EPP_ and configuration modified to include all the facets described
above. When I created a project with the default configuration (_Java_ and _Dynamic Web
Module_ facets) and added the other facets after the project was created, I didn't
encounter any deadlock.
