if you remove
https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-central/pull/112 a tons of other
things are removed so I assume you just means part of this ?
{quote}
The only additional part is handling a case insensitive filename. I will remove the
relevant part and add a test.
{quote}
And why don't we just keep a list of projects in a shortlived cache and if time it was
registered is low enough we assume cheatsheet.xml was part of the open/import ? or is that
too uncertain too ?
{quote}
Not sure how to determine the right amount of time that is enough to ensure cheatsheet.xml
is opened, but not too much after opening/importing a project. We would probably be facing
a problem that cheatsheet.xml isn't opened in some cases.
When we remove
https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-central/pull/112, we will have the
following issue:
When a user creates cheatsheet.xml/.cheatsheet.xml with the
org.eclipse.pde.simpleCheatSheet contentType, the cheatsheet will be opened in an editor
and in the Cheat Sheets view. If a user/developer doesn't want it to be opened in the
view, he can disable the "Show included cheatsheet(s) when importing a new
project" preference so I don't think that is a big issue.
Cheatsheet is not opened when importing project as existing one
