Max Rydahl Andersen updated JBIDE-10128:
----------------------------------------
Fix Version/s: 3.3.0.Beta1
(was: 3.3.0.M4)
This is part of a general resizing problem of central - i.e. I get ~3 items shown on a
1280x800 screen which is fine IMO. reducing to two would tight.
Maybe we should just merge the two since it takes up too much space otherwise.
Something to consider - not sure of the answer.
I would like to see the general resize problem fixed first before we try tweak this
though.
JBoss Central - Shrink the screen space taken up by News and Blog to
just two items before scrollbars appear
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-10128
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-10128
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Enhancement
Components: central
Affects Versions: 3.3.0.M4
Environment: eclipse-jee-indigo-SR1-linux-gtk-x86_64 and JBoss Tools - Core 3.3 -
Nightly Build as of Wed Nov 9th 2011 (AUS time)
Reporter: Isaac Rooskov
Assignee: Snjezana Peco
Fix For: 3.3.0.Beta1
Attachments: Full_Screen.png, Windowed.png
When booting up Eclipse with JBoss Tools installed, JBoss Central is shown, however
because the 'News' section displays 4 items on the screen, I didn't see that
there was a 'Blogs' section. When I have Eclipse fullscreen I can see that it
does. However since the News and Blogs sections have to have scrollbars anyway, could we
shrink the screen realestate that they use up to only displaying 2 items in each section
at a time and then a user can still use each sections scrollbar to see the rest?
This would make it easier for users to see both the News and Blogs sections.
Screenshots attached to provide examples and assist with explanation.
