It asks in endless loop when rse is triggered by launch dialog. The only way to survive is
to cancel that background job, If I access connection again it asks only once as it
should. Looks like the problem is the background job that keeps polling.

I can't replicate this... I specifically deleted all keys from my ssh2 properties
page... It does attempt to connect over and over but it does not come up with a login
message over and over. I only get that login username / password thing once, and that is
after it has verified the server is up. if I cancel it or provide an incorrect username /
password combo, it brings up another screen which allows me to hard-code the upstream
details, server type, home, config, etc.

i've replicated it... if the name of my rse host is the name of a previous host and so
it doesn't overwrite the old host; just uses the old host (where the login most likely
does not work).
