I would definitely like to see SwitchYard project creation linked through here. We have
our own New Project wizard, so if the link could kick that off, that would be lovely.
One question in terms of how dependencies are handled. Do we expect all required plugins
to be pre-installed in the IDE when this link is clicked? Or can the link check to see if
required plugins are installed and prompt the user to install missing plugins.

Yes, wizards loading from here should be clean/verified - i.e. use the same dependencies
(i.e. m2e as jboss tools/devstudio) so they can actually coexist.
And the projects they create should preferably follow the JBoss Way and provide means to
work with enterprise maven dependencies (or allow to use dependencies from installed
runtimes wether they are community or product ones?)
But not sure the current design/layout of the central can handle just keep adding multiple
wizards in here - would be something to work out too, i.e. if there is a layout that would
allow "room" for all these.

keep pouring in wizards in its current layout.

Currently JBoss Central's Create Projects section includes the following:
1) Dynamic Web Project
2) OpenShift Application
3) Java EE Web Project
4) Java EE Project (Java EE EAR Project)
5) HTML5 Project
6) RichFaces Project
7) SpringMVC Project
8) GWT Web Project
And in 2013 we can expect at least the following potential archetypes to be created:
- Portal/Gatein Project
- EDS/Teiid Project
- SOA/Switchyard Project
- BRMS/jBPM/BPMN2 Project
- BRMS/Drools Expert Project
These additional archetypes would only need to be available when the end-user has:
a) acquired the additional tools (JBoss Central - Software/Update tab)
b) potentially switched to the correct Perspective
