Tom Fennelly commented on JBIDE-6101:
-------------------------------------
Sure.. I think this would be a good idea for sure. I had been thinking about doing
something like this, but just hadn't thought how it might work exactly.
We could obviously have a "Generate Code Template" button somewhere in the
editor, but I was also thinking that we could have a hyperlink on the console after using
the launch configurations (I think you can add hyperlinks) that would be a link to
"Generate Code Template". I think this makes sense because I think this is when
people decide that they would like some actual code for using the config i.e. I've
tested the config using the editor and I'm happy... gimme some code now :)

There could be wizard to create working fragment of code (JUnit test) based on selected
smooks configuration which would provide good start for next smooks usage in the code and
can be used for testing as well.
