Fred Bricon commented on JBIDE-14323:
-------------------------------------
So it appears Ctrl+Alt+U conflicts with the Subversive Update Command.
Given that subversive is still in the top 5 eclipse plugins in the marketplace, so heavily
used, we should find another combo.
Ctrl+Shift+U conflicts with Eclipse's "Shows the Occurrences in File quick
menu"
Alt+Shift+U conflicts with Eclipse's "Removes the occurrence annotations from the
current editor", but only when run in the Java/JS Editor windows
Ctrl+Alt+Shift+U conflicts with Eclipse's "Make Landmark" (don't ask)
These are the running contenders :
Ctrl+Alt+M is only superceded by "Add memory block" in the Memory View (who uses
that?)
Alt+F5 not taken
What's your favorite?
Maven Update Project should be hotkey bindable
----------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-14323
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-14323
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: maven, upstream
Affects Versions: 4.1.0.Alpha1
Reporter: Lincoln Baxter III
Assignee: Fred Bricon
Fix For: 4.1.0.Beta1
Currently it is not possible to bind a hotkey shortcut to "maven-->update
project", forcing the user to go to the mouse and do a lot of clicking. This is a
pretty big problem when projects go out of sync so frequently in larger projects ;)
