Jeff Cantrill commented on JBIDE-20407:
---------------------------------------
[~maxandersen] If a template author uses parameters as a means for the user to set a
resource name or base name, this is the most ideal situation for template reuse in a
project. I believe most (or all) of the middleware templates do this. If they don't,
we at least discussed that with [~irishfan99ko]. I know one of his concerns is there is a
maximum length to resource names and that it various depending upon resource. I am unable
to confirm that without looking at the origin code base, but that would be one
limitation.
In regards to creating new projects, my reservation with that is it seems like we are
cramming a lot of functionality into this flow, but ultimately I defer to your Eclipse and
UI wisdom.
