Andrej Podhradsky commented on JBTIS-571:
-----------------------------------------
I was able to reproduce this issue on Fedora 22 and on Win10. The problem occurs only if
the SwitchYard editor remains opened and then you restart the IDE. I also noticed that
there is the same error (you can see this error only if you run the JBDS from command
line) as the one reported at
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/SWITCHYARD-2767
Note that JBDS 9.0.0.GA comes with JBDS-IS 9.0.0.Alpha2 and all components are still on
early access. The mentioned issue is fixed in JBDS-IS 9.0.0.Beta1 which is available only
in JBDS 9.1.0.Beta2 (the GA is coming soon).
Nicolas, if you wish to use SwitchYard tooling without to the above issue, please follow
these steps
1. Install JBDS 9.1.0.Beta2 or update your existing JBDS 9.0.0.GA from
https://devstudio.redhat.com/9.0/development/updates/
2. Install SwitchYard from JBoss Central (if you have the old one, please remove it and
install it from JBoss Central again)
(unfortunately, you cannot directly update the old SwitchYard tooling since there were
changes in version format)
Error loading file switchyard.xml. Unable to load the generated
resource.

Key: JBTIS-571
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBTIS-571
Project: JBoss Tools Integration Stack
Issue Type: Bug
Components: switchyard
Reporter: nicolas duminil
Assignee: Brian Fitzpatrick
Priority: Blocker
Attachments: jbtis-571_1.png, jbtis-571_2.png
After creating a new switchyard project, next time it starts up JBDS is not able to open
its own generated siwtchyard.xml file. The error "Error loading file switchyard.xml.
Unable to load the generated resource" is displayed. The only choice is the OK
button. Pressing it, the JBDS screen doesn't display but JBDS seems to be started and
the LCK file created. The only option the user has is to kill the process.
Tested on Windows 7 and Windows 10 with Java 8.
