Currently it is caching the shutdown controller, however, the launch config is not re-instantiated on the fly, and so keeping any state here is a very bad idea. Use case: 1) Create 1 server in rse mode, start, stop 2) create 2nd server in local mode 3) Try to start, watch it attempt to use rse to start.
