Max Andersen updated JBIDE-1164:

Summary: Project archives: errors during build are not properly reported (was:
Project archives: errors during build are properly reported)
Component/s: Archives
Fix Version/s: 2.0.0.CR1
Assignee: Rob Stryker
Priority: Minor (was: Major)
Petr - I assume you meant *not* properly reported, correct ?
Rob - is it intentional that we dno't report anything to not block the user from
working when incremental updates runs or should we somehow complain here ? e.g. put an
error marker in the project as something wrong with the archives configuration ? (if the
latter I guess this have to wait after GA)
Project archives: errors during build are not properly reported
---------------------------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-1164
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-1164
Project: JBoss Tools
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Archives
Affects Versions: 2.0.0.Beta4
Reporter: Petr Lindovsky
Assigned To: Rob Stryker
Priority: Minor
Fix For: 2.0.0.CR1
I added a new WAR archive to my project in the Project archives view - and the generated
definition was incorrect (it referenced a non-existent lib directory). I invoked the Build
Archive action - and nothing happened - I only found something in the .log file.
