Catherine Robson updated JBIDE-14033:
-------------------------------------
Attachment: toobigtopartycentral_resizedesign.png
I think with this small of an area of screen real-estate, the only way we are going to be
able to fit the content is to either drop off some content, or add a vertical scroll bar.
With a vertical scroll bar, I think you can start pushing content vertically when it does
not fit horizontally any more (take two columns of the Quickstarts and move them below to
the top two for instance). Ellipse long strings at the top, etc.
I'm not too familiar with what eclipse will allow you to manipulate for screen design
on resize, so I'm happy to work out other solutions if this is not possible.
I would prefer to only have a vertical scrollbar, but we could have two scrollbars
(horizontal and vertical) as most users will expand the area to be larger if they see two
scrollbars and want to look at all of the content.
jboss central is too big in the new layout

Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: central
Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
Assignee: Fred Bricon
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 4.1.0.Beta1

see attached - that is how central looks with the new layout. Can't see large part of
the screen.
In the old version it adjusted to the size much better.
