Rob Stryker resolved JBIDE-12563.
---------------------------------
Resolution: Partially Completed
Out of 5 tries, I was only able to replicate this once. And even that time, simply
clicking the server again (left-click, not right-click) enabled the action and it worked.
At this point I just have to chalk this up to some eccentricities in swt. I added debug
output into the action, and I can see that when you start the eap server, it re-updates
the selection, so unless you're somehow using hotkeys or something to start the
server, I just can't figure it.
I've spent plenty of hours on this, and since the workaround is as simple as clicking
the server once more to re-enable the action, I can't really justify this as a
high-priority issue.
Compared to it's previous behaviour, this seems to work almost every single time now.
It used to fail quite often, but now I'm hard-pressed to get it to fail.
I'm going to close this as partially fixed.

Key: JBIDE-12563
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-12563
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: JBossAS/Servers
Affects Versions: 4.0.0.Alpha1
Environment: JBT 4.0.0.Alpha1 B6
Reporter: Martin Malina
Assignee: Rob Stryker
Fix For: 4.0.0.CR1
Attachments: mbean-gray.png
When you start EAP 5.1.2 and then try to invoke server -> Show in -> MBean
Explorer, it is grayed out and cannot be clicked. But when I open the MBean Explorer
manually I can access the server's mbeans no problem.
