I Agree with you [~hardy.ferentschik], it is on tooling side and is somehow connected with

After testing new devstudio and cdk nightly

showing some more wrongly encoded characters and it is happening on fedora 26, see

I believe, it is new subsctiption-manager feature, that, runnig in cli, shows rotating
'/' char, it is supposed to be showing progress of subscription. If you ask me, I
vote for switching this feature off. But It might be on CDK side - meaning, if you started
