These issues are a subject to fix in master branch (which is coming 0.9). But we cannot use (and wait for) 0.9 release in JBT 4.2.3. It's a Service Release - it's based on 4.2.x stream and contains mostly bugfixes but not any new features. The coming JBT 4.2.3 currently uses Tern.java/AngularJS-Eclipse 0.7.1 (with 'IllegalArgumentException' issue fixed). But v. 0.7.1 still has this blocker 'deadlock' issue which makes it unusable for the users. If it could be possible just to include tern.java 0.8.0 instead of 0.7.1 then we would do this, but v.0.8.0 still contains the same two blocker problems: the "IllegalArgumentException' and the 'deadlock' issues. Making a new branch (0.8.x-branch) based on 0.8.0 release and cherry-picking 7 more existing commits from master will allow us to fix these two problems in 0.8.1 release. And this 0.8.1 release could be used by JBT 4.2.3 release instead of Tern.java/AngularJS-eclipse v.0.7.1. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.11#6341)
