Ondrej Dockal commented on JBIDE-25822:
---------------------------------------
There are basically 3 cases when user can call 'Setup CDK' from server's
adapter context menu item.
1. Non-existing folder (Always changing Mimishift Home value)
* executing Setup CDK will create folder and perform setup-cdk
2. Existing folder
* warning dialog is thrown notifying user that folder exists and if user confirms,
setup-cdk --force is called, content created, old removed
3. Existing folder with content already created by setup-cdk command
* setup-cdk is not possible, no context menu item Setup CDK available
Seems pretty valid to me. But I will give it another shot tomorrow. Tested on devstudio:
11.3.0.-v20180322-1027-B2194
Support setup-cdk in Eclipse

Key: JBIDE-25822
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-25822
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: cdk
Affects Versions: 4.5.3.AM3
Reporter: Martin Malina
Assignee: Rob Stryker
Fix For: 4.5.3.AM3
JBIDE-25753 added support for downloading cdk directly from the IDE. So that moves us
closer for the user to be able to avoid CLI at all. But there is still one piece missing -
running minishift cdk-setup after you download the binary - without that you still
won't be able to run cdk.
