Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBIDE-9838:
--------------------------------------------
worklog comment that should have been a normal comment:
added prettytime and now rendering date as "2 days ago", "just now",
" 3 weeks ago" etc.
Explicitly replaced with   to avoid xml parsing errors in form text.
Guarded formtext with try/catch error in one entry doesn't make the full news feed
fail.
Also made it so if author is (author unknown) don't print the author.
Use pretty times instead of full formatted timestamps on RSS feed

Key: JBIDE-9838
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-9838
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: central
Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
Assignee: Max Rydahl Andersen
Priority: Minor
Fix For: 3.3.0.M4
Time Spent: 1 hour
Remaining Estimate: 0 minutes
Currently the full date/timestamp is shown for RSS feeds taking up alot of space and is
"disturbing" for the eyes.
I suggest we use PrettyTime (
http://ocpsoft.com/prettytime/) to get stuff like
"right now", "2 days ago" etc.
the full time could still be shown in a tooltip or similar.
