Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBIDE-8583:
--------------------------------------------
The suggestion made was (at least for war's) to use the context deploy name but that
won't work for all type of deployments.
Would be better if we revive the idea of being able to name the final destination.
Add functionality to decouple the project name from the deployment
name (directory name)

Key: JBIDE-8583
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-8583
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: JBossAS
Environment: All
Reporter: Karsten Wutzke
Priority: Minor
JBoss Tools deploys Eclipse projects to a directory with the name of the project.
Developers having project names with spaces in them (My Xyz Project) will end up in the
respective directory on the server, which can be undesirable. Please decouple Eclipse
project and server deployment names.
