--------------------------------------------------------
I am a bit confused and I am hoping someone can provide a bit of clarity.
Has the server adapter for WildFly 13 been successfully added to the JBoss Tools
4.6.0.Final release? If this server adapter feature has been successfully added, what is
this JIRA Issue meant to track (bugs, incomplete solution, features missing)?
*+Background+*
I have been looking forward to the support for Wildfly 13 and when I saw that the fixed
version for this JIRA issue updated from 4.6.0.Final to 4.9.0.AM1 I was pretty
disappointed, as the planned 4.9.0.Final release date is October 2nd
(
https://issues.jboss.org/projects/JBIDE?selectedItem=com.atlassian.jira.j...).
However, I just accidentally discovered that I can view the "Wildfly 13" server
adapter in my Eclipse Photon instance and then found this feature mentioned in the recent
blog post [
https://tools.jboss.org/blog/12.0.0.ga-for-photon.html] by [~jeffmaury]

Add server adapter for WildFly 13
---------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-26071
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-26071
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: server
Affects Versions: 4.6.0.AM2
Reporter: Martin Malina
Assignee: Rob Stryker
Priority: Blocker
Fix For: 4.9.0.AM1
It turns out WildFly 13 was released yesterday. They're on a quarterly release
cadence now apparently. So I wonder how we should deal with this. Perhaps should group
some of the versions if there are no breaking changes for us? Or do you think it's
better to stick with our current model of always adding a new adapter and that way you can
always update the libs?
