Andre Dietisheim commented on JBIDE-21864:
------------------------------------------
The reasons for this being slow are two-fold:
* we do a 1st rsync server->local and then a subsequent local->server. When getting
the files from remote we most likely get a lot of unwanted files like the .git-folder. We
do this to avoid permission issues
* we do a local copy before syncing to the server to filter out folders like .git.
Both cases would get a boost if we were using the native rsync
exclusion-/inclusion-filters that "oc rsync" now supports.
Server Adapter: publishing is slow compared to "oc rsync"
on the cmd line
