Rob Stryker commented on JBIDE-563:
-----------------------------------
The navigator view does not show classpath containers. Only the Package Explorer does.
However:
That is not the proper way to target the runtime. The proper way (from what I'm aware
of) is to right-click on the project, select properties, and then, on the left, there
should be a section named "Targeted Runtimes".
After selecting that, the main part of the preference dialog should fill up. If it does
not fill up, you will probably need to change the java facet to a 5.0 version. You can do
this by selecting the "Uninstall Facets..." hyperlink near the bottom of the
page. From there you should change the Java facet version to 5.0 and save. Then the main
page will show your server's runtime as an available targeted runtime.
I'll also look into exactly what happens when a user tries to add a runtime as a
library.
JBoss AS X.X Class Path container is never showed in Navigator
