The BIRT reports that are mentioned on the page no. 30 are just examples that users can replace with their own reports. For instance, the ProductCatalog.rptdesign is a standard BIRT report sample (http://www.eclipse.org/birt/phoenix/examples/solution/ProductCatalog.html). In order to execute this report, you need to install BIRT's Classic Models database. BirtProductsPdf.xhtml, BirtProductsFrameset.xhtml and BirtProductsEmbedded.xhtml calls the ProductCatalog.rptdesign report in different ways. I have attached the reports mentioned on the page 30. They can be included in the documentation, if necessary.
