Rob Stryker commented on JBIDE-9349:
------------------------------------
Also to be clear, the tooling never let you "choose" your execution environment.
There was never any UI to choose that. On an API level, there was a way to set the
execution environment. In the event no environment was set, there was a default exec
environment. You could also set a specific JRE if you wanted, and there *WAS* UI for this.
But there was never any UI to select your exec environment. Just your exact JRE.
AS7 does not provide a way to choose JRE/Execution environment

Key: JBIDE-9349
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-9349
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: JBossAS
Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
Assignee: Rob Stryker
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 3.3.0.M3
Seems AS7 is missing the choice of JDK/Execution Environment for its runtime. All the
other servers provides this.
This makes it choose the first one of multiple JDK's which is bad for users having to
use multiple JDKs.
