Len DiMaggio commented on JBIDE-13902:
--------------------------------------
It looks as though the server start/stop operations, as invoked from JBDS, do not actually
alter the server's running status. These operations simply change the server status
that is displayed in JBDS.
Externally managed server status not recognized - user instructed to
start an already started server

Key: JBIDE-13902
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-13902
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: JBossAS/Servers
Affects Versions: 4.1.0.Alpha1
Environment: F17, Eclipse 4.3
Reporter: John Graham
Assignee: Rob Stryker
Attachments: server-view.png, wizard-page1.png, wizard-page2.png
Create a EAP 6.1 server connection (see attached, wizard-page1.png), checking off the
option that the server is externally managed (assumed it is running; see attached
wizard-page2.png). Although the server is running, the server definition in the server
view does not recognize the server status (see attached server-view.png) .
