When selecting the entry under 'servers', right-click, click connect, and open properties view, you can browse jmx tree or get memory usage stats. The various charts are updating 500ms apart. If you check window -> preferences -> jvm monitor, you'll see the setting is 5000 ms, not 500. This specific jmx node is not respecting the global setting.
