Vineet Reynolds commented on JBDS-2793:
---------------------------------------
[~maxandersen], the layout appears to be sufficient, but I'm basing this off
8.0.0.Beta3 (on Mac) and not CR1. There are a few issues that I've encountered.
The most notable one is on Windows with respect to usage of linked folders for the
'www' directory; I'm not sure if this is a Luna issue or a JBT issue -
files/resources are not available either when opening them in an editor, or when they are
accessed by an Eclipse plugin.
Other issues are known ones like JBIDE-18222.
I'll raise new bugs as appropriate in JBT JIRA. I'd prefer to re-verify this again
once the component stabilizes.
Align JDF and WFK quickstarts/examples/tutorials with a project
layout that works with eclipse tooling

https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-2793
Project: Developer Studio (JBoss Developer Studio)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Components: aerogear-hybrid
Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
Assignee: Vineet Reynolds
Priority: Blocker
Fix For: 8.0.0.CR1
Attachments: directoryStructure.tiff
wfk/jdf has or will get quickstarts/tutorials that works with cordova.
Needs to sync up with them on what we support/dont support.
Current suggestion is that the cordova app should be *separate* from the webapp, not
"mixed" in.
With a structure like:
TicketMonster/
www/config.xml
plugins
.project
platforms
ios
android
it can build both with cordova-cli and the eclipse tools (eclipse will ignore platforms
directory)
