Marián Labuda commented on JBDS-3465:
-------------------------------------
Quality of both SpringIDE builds seem to be similar. There are bugs in the plugin, but
those bugs are for both versions and they seem to be upstream.
Which one to choose? Well, depends. We can be sure what is broken and not working for
released SpringIDE and we should not be surprised (only in case that something break
SpringIDE plugin, what happens some time). With the nightly build there is a risk of badly
broken build of SpringIDE. We can't ensure, that every nightly SpringIDE build will
work for users. On the other hand, there is a change that existing bugs will be fixed (but
there can also raise new bugs).
From my point of view, using release is much safer, even there are
some nasty bugs.
Consider using SpringIDE 3.7 (or 3.6.4?)
